BALL RULED OUT OF LEAGUE OPENER

New Ipswich Town signing Dom Ball has been ruled out of the League One season opener. The former Queens Park Rangers (QPR) star will miss the League One opener with Bolton Wanderers as a result of injury. Ball was ruled out of thegame with Bolton Wanderersby his manager. In his pre-match press conference for the Bolton Wanderers game, Ipswich Town boss McKenna said Ball won't feature for the Tractor Boys this weekend due to injury and that he needs time to recover from injury.

McKenna said he has a fully fit squad for the Bolton game apart from the injured Ball. He's optimistic that the new signing will join the rest of his teammates on the grass next week.

Ball, 26, signed for Ipswich Town from Championship side Queens Park Rangers (QPR) during this summer's transfer window. Ball is one of several signings at Ipswich Town during this transfer window.
The target for Ipswich Town in the new season is promotion to the English Championship. Ipswich have strengthened their squad in a bid to achieve their target for the new season. They finished ahead of opponents Bolton on the League One table last season.
Apart from Ball, Ipswich Town have also signed Greg Legh, Leif Davis, Marcus Harness and Freddie Ladapo. The Suffolk club loaned young attacker Tyreece John-Jules from Premier League outfit Arsenal this summer as well to strengthen the forward options at the disposal of manager McKenna.
Ball didn't featurein the last two pre-season friendly games due to knockand it willrule the new signing out of the Bolton Wanderers clash. Fellow new signing Leif Davis will be in the Ipswich Town squad for the Bolton game. Davis is a new signing at Ipswich Town this summer following his arrival from Leeds United in the English top flight.
