Bolton Wanderers have been a rejuvenated club in the last few months.
These victories have ensured that the club maintained their 100% start to the season. Bolton are the only club in League One to have won all their games. They have already established an early two-point advantage over Scunthorpe United and Bradford City. Even though the club were disappointed to lose Zach Clough due to injury, they came up with a late winner through Josh Vela.Clough has been one of the important players for the club this season and he will be missed for the time he spends on the sidelines. Even though Fleetwood took an early advantage, Bolton were able to come back through goals fromMadine and Vela.
“There was an edginess around the place. You could feel that, and that's understandable given what's happened in the past. The most important thing I'm pleased with is the character. You can have good players, but they've got to play when the pressure's on.I felt there was a little bit of pressure on us and we responded very well," said manager Phil Parkinson. It remains to be seen if Bolton will be able to keep up their good form with tough matches against Charlton Athletic and MK Dons on their way.
